10/2/23 – This is a rare example of a Russian SVT-40 rifle made at the Tula Factory in 1941. All matching with no import marks. What makes this one even rarer is that it is an original, non-refurbished example. The vast majority have been refurbished at an arsenal after the war. It has retained about 93-94% of its original finish with general high edge wear and areas of light spotty oxidation throughout, most noticeable on the barrel and heat shield. Excellent wood stock that has been lightly sanded. Mint bore. Comes with a leather sling.
