8/21/20 – For you “odd ball” collectors, this is one you want to take a look at. This is a Spreewerke made P.38 but left in the factory at the end of the war, then reworked by the Czech’s. The right side of slide has a single Eagle 88. Left trigger guard has E and Czech lion. Right side trigger guard is 46 marked – the year it was reworked. It has a cog hammer from 1945. All numbers match, but it was renumbered or in some cases, first numbered when it was reworked, post war. It has excellent brown grips.We don’t know a lot about these guns but know that even though they are post war assembly they are desired by collectors. Only a few thousand made! Excellent bore. No import marks.
