3/17/25 – For sale is a rare and original condition 30-round Colt magazine. This particular style of Colt magazine was first introduced to the civilian market in the mid-1960s. The distinct features were the dark emerald green follower that is marked with a parts number in white lettering and a parts number stamped into the aluminum body of the magazine. Condition-wise, this magazine shows normal use wear throughout with no dents or structural issues. Spring is strong and functional. This magazine is best paired with SP1 rifles from the late ’60s or early ’70s, but these first edition 30 round mags were also used by the US military and have been known to come up in circulation as old surplus magazines and can go with original M16A1 rifles.
