9/29/23 – This is a very rarely encountered Stevens Savage Model 620-A trench shotgun, made as a part of US military procurement during WWII.Unlike its M520 counterpart, this was a hammerless model, very much like Winchester M12. They were produced in trench, riot and training versions with only ~12,000 total produced.So presumably only a few thousand of these riot 620-A’s were made.This one is all original and in excellent condition. The bluing is excellent with only some minor high edge wear and some tiny handling marks and scratches here and there. Very nice wood furniture with only minor dings and scratches. The grip cap is a little “chewed-up”. Mint bore. The action is smooth.
