Description
6/21/23 – This is an original WW2 production Mauser cleaning rod for the G33/40 Mountain Carbine rifle. The rod is shorter than most, measuring 26cm long (just over 10 inches), making it most appropriate for G33/40 use. The rod is numbered “87” and the top is waffen proof stamped and stamped with the letter “K” near the eye-hole. A rare cleaning rod in great condition, with some mild surface patina and finish loss throughout.
