6/5/23 – This is a very nice example of a rare, early, high polish Waffen Walther PPK issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 359” military acceptance proofs on the slide and frame. It comes as a full rig with two period-correct wartime magazines and a rare “Waffen 100” proofed leather holster. Visible ink stamp on the inside of the holster as well. The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. There is dulling and thinning on the front strap and minor wear around the muzzle and along the high edges of the slide. Fitted with a nice brown Walther grip – crack in the spine. The bore has strong rifling, but there is some minor frosting in the grooves. The hold-open does not work properly with one of the magazines – works fine with the other.
