1/28/25 – This is a very nice example of a rare Navy-issued Ithaca Model 1911A1 from 1943. It is “United States Property” marked, has “FJA” inspection initials, and has a cross-canon military cartouche. Proper HS High Standard barrel. The gun’s original parkerized finish rates about 90% with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and a small spot of wear on the left side of the slide. Minor finish loss with some spotty patina on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Comes with an “S” marked magazine. Near-mint bore.
