Description
7/5/24 – This is a rare variation, WW1 German Imperial Navy M1904 Luger Stock / Shoulder Board. The stock comes as shown, with original central metal disc, and female attachment end with a fully functional locking mechanism. The stock is in excellent overall condition with clean, smooth wood that has no cracks or chips. The top of the board, along the top-spine or the shoulder-end of the board is a GERMANY export stamp with a few small dings / blemishes indicating this was used to hammer something previously. These are minor blemishes however and don’t affect the structural integrity overall. The metal disc is stamped with a small Crown/M Imperial Navy proof stamp. The stamp is crisp and verified as original. The female end is serial numbered 4433a. No other markings or stamps; price reduced due to the export stamp, but overall this is an excellent original example of a rare WW1 shoulder board.
