Description
5/9/25 – This is a nice example of a rare Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is a first-year Mauser production, where only 19,000 of these were made, making it only slightly more common than the zero series or Nazi-marked svw 45’s. This one is matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military proofs. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its dusty blue finish. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there is very light spotty oxidation on much of the gun. Fitted with brownish bakelite grips and comes with a jvd magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there are some areas of light surface freckling. De-cocker is functional.
