10/13/23 – This is one of the rarest TT-33 variants ever produced – a Hungarian made Model 48 pistol. This is a mint, all original and all matching example, retaining virtually all of its original blue.¬ The rig is as issued with original holster, cleaning rod and two matching magazines!¬ Perfect grips with Hungarian Soviet era crest, excellent bore and no import markings. Every part is proofed with Hungarian Äú02Äù acceptance proof that is also present on the magazines.¬ Very few of these guns made it into the US, most likely either with military personnel stationed in Europe in the 1950s or via Vietnam as bring-backs.¬ To find a complete rig in such outstanding condition is nearly impossible.
