8/21/23 – This is a rare Remington 121 Fieldmaster with Routledge bore, one of only 3,000 produced.The Routledge bore is a smoothbore rifle for use with rimfire shot, or a .22 caliber rifled bore that transitions to .400 smoothbore.The bluing on the rifle is excellent with around 95% remaining, as there isn’t much bluing loss.There is minor oxidation on much of the rifle though, and a couple minor patches of pitting on the barrel.Minty bore.Smooth action.Serial makes this one of the last ones ever produced.Nice wood furniture with minor handling wear and scrapes.Original Remington buttplate.
