Description
4/1/24 – This is an example of a rare Walther PP that was part of a small SS Contract in 1944. It is considered a Fourth Variant in Tom’s “SS Contract Walther PP/PPK” book and is discussed starting on page 99. This one comes with an original matching-numbered magazine and is fitted with scarce reddish bakelite grips, same as the other known examples in this range. This one has been nickel-plated, likely done by the GI who brought this gun home. Some spotty oxidation on the back strap. Slide legend not visible. Comes with a generic post-war holster. Mint bore.
