11/8/21 – This is a minty example of a rare commercial Mauser Banner Luger from 1940.There were only ~7500 commercial banner Lugers produced by Mauser, most in the ‘v’ and ‘w’ serial blocks.This is an original example in the ‘w’ block with matching serial numbers throughout.The blue rates at 98-99% with just a little bit of muzzle wear on either side of the barrel, and a thin/small surface scratch on the front grip strap.Beautifully strawed small parts.Grips are not numbered and have sharp checkering.Comes with a correct magazine in the ‘w’ block but it’s mismatched.The bore has strong rifling but does have a little frost in the grooves.
