Description
1/9/24 – This is an original Turkish Stahlhelm (M18 Combat Helmet) from World War I.These are probably the most rare of all WW1 steel helmets, with only 5,400 produced in Germany for shipment to their ally, Turkey.Very similar to the German M-18 helmet but with the peak removed.Liner is still intact, and in good condition though dry/stiff.Chin strap also present.Outer finish shows its age and patina but no major defects to note specifically.
