8/30/23 – This is a minty example of a rare Nagoya Arsenal-made Zero-Series Arisaka Type 44 Carbine. Only about 2-3,000 produced. This one is all matching, but has a ground Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. The metal parts have retained nearly all of their finish with just very minor pin-pricking around the muzzle and on the bayonet lug. Very nice wood furniture with the typical signs of wear and use. Comes with a period-correct canvas sling. Mint bore.
