Description
1/5/24 – This is an excellent example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is “United States Property” marked, has a cross-cannon military cartouche, and has the proper “FJA” inspector initials. This one also has a scarce 2nd variation slide and is in the proper serial range for this variation. Correct HS barrel. The gun comes as a rig with one period-correct “L” marked magazine and a nice 1945-dated Boyt holster. The gun itself has been refinished with very little finish loss, just some very minor high edge wear. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips. Mint bore.
