Description
3/29/23 – This is an original vintage Remington Rolling Block Rifle bayonet. The bayonet comes with an original scabbard and leather frog / belt hanger. The bayonet blade is about 7.75 inches long and in good overall condition (considering its age) with most of the finish missing, leaving an aged steel look. There’s some mild surface scratches but no rust or pitting and no signs of sharpening on the blade. Maker stamped on one side. The hooked crossguard is in great shape with surface patina throughout. The pommel has similar surface patina and light aging wear. Nice wood grips. There’s a few dings along the side of the scabbard, but no major dents and fits nicely.
