5/14/24 – This is a Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung. It is marked “R.F.V. 18668 W” on the front strap. This Third Reich department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters – much like our own IRS and border police. This one has retained about 95% of its finish and has a refinished slide. Some dulling on the grip straps and a small area of wear with a couple of scratches on the right side of the frame. Mint bore. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with a Walther banner-only magazine.
