3/11/25 – This is a Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung. It is marked “R.F.V. 1025 W” on the back strap. This Third Reich department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters – much like our own IRS and border police. This one has retained roughly 75-80% of its original finish with wear and pin-pricking on both sides of the slide and brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with black bakelite grips and comes with a proper Walther banner-only magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling.
