Description
5/23/23 – This is an original SA Dagger from WW2. This is a wartime example, featuring a blade inscribed with the standard “Alles f?ºr Deutschland” on one side and RZM stamped with maker code M7/73, corresponding to A.u.F. Helbig, on the other. The inscriptions on this example, albeit slightly faded and faint due to age, remain clearly visible. The blade exhibits excellent cross-graining throughout, minimal surface discoloration, and some light scabbard rub wear. Evidence of machine-sharpening is present on the lower edge of the blade. The nickel-plated cross guards show mild surface blemishing. The wood grip has very mild chipping near the top of the backside, but no cracks. The dagger comes with an original brown painted scabbard.
