8/9/24 – This is an RZM marked Walther PPK from 1934-35. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This one is all matching and has retained about somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish finish. There is wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated around the high edges. Fitted with a brown Walther grip – there is a hairline crack on the left side. Comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only finger extension magazine. Most of the bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there are a few spots of minor pin-pricking.
