Description
5/20/24 – This is a nice example of a scarce “660 Code” K98 rifle assembled by Steyr and issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun is mismatched but has no import marks. The finish rates roughly 50% with general thinning throughout. The stock has been numbered and re-numbered on the left side of the butt stock. No visible waffen proofs. The butt plate does not fit perfectly to the stock. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
