Description
3/29/23 – This is an excellent example of a matching and original Walther P.38 1943. It’s a scarce variation with ‘ac 43’ marking in a single line on the slide, only found in the ‘n’ and ‘m’ serial blocks, one of about 18,000 made. This one has retained about 97% of its original finish with very minor wear around the muzzle and the high edges of the slide. Very light brown patina on the front strap. Fitted with excellent reddish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with an “Eagle 135” marked Mauser magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but unfortunately there is a minor bulge in the barrel around the muzzle end. De-cocker is functional.
