Description
4/25/24 – This is a very nice example of a matching and original Walther P.38 1943. It’s a scarce variation with ‘ac 43’ marking in a single line on the slide, only found in the ‘n’ and ‘m’ serial blocks, one of about 18,000 made. This one has retained about 90% of its original finish with general muzzle and high edge wear and some thinning on the front strap. Fitted with excellent reddish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with a “Waffen 135” marked Mauser magazine. The hold open does not work with this magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
