Description
4/11/25 – For sale is a scarce Enfield Mk1* made in 1897 that was converted to a Charger Loading Lee Enfield in 1908 for the British Military. Originally, the Mk1 would only load 1 cartridge at a time, but the update added a stripper clip guide. The rifle is in great condition overall with a nice aged blue finish on the metal. There’s dotting of patina and some finish loss. The stock and handguard are in excellent condition overall, with plenty of handling marks. There is a sliver of material missing right at the toe. The right side of the stock is stamped with the Enfield Roundel and a 1 over 1. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. The bolt does not match the receiver.
