6/11/24 – This is an excellent example of an Erfurt Karabiner 98 issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. The gun is entirely matching (including the stock) and has the proper Imperial proofs throughout. No import marks. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. Minor patina on band and receiver. The wood stock has no major damage, but shows typical signs of use. The stock also has all of the correct Imperial proofs and markings.Strong, shiny bore.The action is smooth and in excellent working condition.Comes with scarce, original sling.
