11/23/21 -This is a scarce Erfurt M1883 Reichsrevolver in all matching and original condition. All numbered parts of this revolver match, including frame, cylinder latch, barrel, cylinder, grips and even the grip and frame screws! The finish shows thinning and browning throughout, but with no pitting.The frame is marked “6.R.A.1.56”,which means it went to the 6th infantry. The frame is dated 1894, meaning this antique requires no license. Bore is actually pretty shiny with fairly strong rifling considering the age and condition of the revolver, but there is some freckling. Appears fully functional.
