10/19/21 – This is a scarce and highly desirable Japanese Paratrooper rifle from World War II.Exclusively made at Nagoya Arsenal, the rifle is all matching and original and in excellent condition.The chrome-lined bore is shiny with good rifling, but a little frost throughout.The rifle itself has excellent bluing except for the top of the receiver where the mum was ground off.The takedown mechanism is also all matching, and correctly not matching to the serial of the receiver as these were numbered separately.Rifle is all matching throughout, including bayo lug and full bolt assembly. Receiver also features Kanji denoting it is a “Type II” rifle.Original cleaning rod and aircraft sights are present.The stock shows numerous dings and nicks but no cracks or major issues with the wood.There were only an estimated 19,000 of these produced!
