2/24/25 – This is a nice example of a Walther PP that was issued to the SS in 1940. It is all matching and in a solid serial number block of other SS-issued guns. It comes with a numbered SS-contract magazine, but it does not match the gun. The magazine finger extension has a small cracks. There is also a unique factory overstamp on the magazine. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, some spotty discoloration along the left side of the slide, and some finish loss with spotty oxidation on the grip straps. Fitted with a set of period-correct black bakelite grips. Excellent, shiny bore.
