7/16/24 – This is a nice example of a shooter-grade BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is mismatched but does have the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. Its original finish rates about 92-93% with most of the wear on the side plate and around the muzzle. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there are areas of pitting on both sides of the gun and on the grip straps. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips – tiny hairline crack on the left side. Comes with a desirable blank aluminum bottom magazine. Excellent, shiny bore.
