Description
3/7/23 – This is a very nice example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver issued to the US military in 1942-44. It is all matching and has the proper “US Property” marking, flaming bomb, and “GHD” inspector initials on the top strap. The gun has retained roughly 70% of its finish with spotty wear and splotchy discoloration on the whole gun. Some original case-hardening still visible on hammer and trigger. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips. The right side numbered but not matching to the gun – bruising on both with a couple of more noticeable gouges on the right side. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
