10/22/21 – This is a very nice Springfield Armory M1 Garand from 1955.Barrel is also made by Springfield Armory and dated to March of 1955.Excellent parkerized finish on the metal parts, with just a little wear around the muzzle and gas tube.Minty receiver with sharp markings.Stock shows its age and obvious handling wear, and there are a few small chips in the wood.Left side has the DoD cartouche.Minty bore, hardly looks fired, and muzzle and throat are both under a 1.Comes with a postwar canvas sling.
