Description
9/25/23 – This is a nice example of a Springfield Krag Model 1898 manufactured around 1901. Overall is in good condition with no major blemishes. The bluing on the barrel is still very nice but the rest of the rifle is thinning. The bolt is very smooth like how Krags are known to be. Stock is marked with the circle P at the wrist and a cartouche dated 1900 on the left side. The stock is in great condition with minor handling marks throughout. There is one prominent ding at the muzzle end of the stock on the left side. The bore is dark but with very sharp rifling.
