08/16/2024 – For sale is a nice M1 Garand made by Springfield Arsenal. This rifle had undergone a rebuild in 1951 receiving a new stock and barrel. The metal has a parkerized finish but it has worn smooth and plenty of edge wear. The bore is fairly bright towards the beginning but gets darker towards the muzzle. The muzzle erosion rates a 2 and the throat erosion a 1. The stock is in good condition and has plenty of handling marks. There is a civil defense stamp on the left side.
