3/11/24 – Excellent condition. A very desirable Springfield “Tanker” model M1 Garand chambered in .30-06. The receiver dates to 1943 as indicated by the serial number. The muzzle area shows a few handling marks, otherwise the original finish rates about 95%. The 18″ barrel has ME of 0 and a TE of 1 and is dated March of 1954. Bore rates a good 8 of 10. All visible markings are in the photos. The wood stock is un-marked and shows minimal use wear. Smooth operation. Completely functional. Includes a wartime canvas sling.
