11/27/23 – This is an excellent Springfield Armory M1D Garand Sniper rifle from 1945.The gun was upgraded to M1D specifications at the armory and has a barrel date of October, 1953.Barrel is a National Match example also with ‘NM’ stamp.It has an original M84 telescopic sight with clear optics.SA marked trigger group, safety, op rod, with standard markings on the heel of receiver.Unmarked stock that was likely a replacement.The leather cheek pad is a repro.Terrific bore, TE is a 1.Comes with a canvas sling.
