11/14/25 – For sale is a Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Rifle with the Ramrod Bayonet. The rifle is in good condition with an aged blue finish on the metal with a light browning of patina. There are patches of heavy finish loss mainly on the barrel around the rear sight. The lock plate is darkening with age. The buttplate has some corrosion damage and old surface rust that we were able to clean off. The stock is in great shape without any cracks or breaks. There’s a 1893 inspection stamp. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
