5/17/24 – This is a nice example of a Walther PPK issued to the SS in 1943. The serial number on the slide has been ground away, so we cannot say it is matching. The gun comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine (factory over-stamp of one of the numbers), a spare SS-contract magazine that is not matching to the gun, and a minty SS-contract black leather leading-edge Akah holster. The gun also comes with photocopies of the original SS issue paperwork that lists this exact gun by serial number. The gun has no finish with obvious spotty oxidation on the slide. Fitted with a late-war black bakelite grip. Excellent, shiny bore.
