Description
6/5/24 – This is an original K98 dress bayonet from WWII. The bayonet has an “upgraded” stag handle. Which is original and correct. There are no markings, so the maker is unknown. The blade is very nice with only minor scabbard wear and a few age spots.No evidence of sharpening. The pommel shows some age patina, but no corrosion. The scabbard has the original black paint and is mostly in tact, although there is some minor / normal wear and spots of paint missing. No dents. The leather hilt washer shows a small tear. The leather scabbard is shows some wrinkling and use wear with a small tear at the belt hook.Overall all original and correct.
