1/27/25 – This is a good example of a Star Model BKM pistol. The BKM was introduced by Star in 1972 and was a response to the growing market in the United States for smaller more concealable pistols. The frames on these pistols are made using an aircraft alloy of aluminum, and a steel slide. The pistol has an overall length of 7 inches and weighs less than two pounds when fully loaded. This pistol is in overall good condition maintaining roughly 75% of it’s original finish. The majority of this finish loss can be found on the back and front straps of the aluminum frame. The slide has some finish loss on the high edges and the barrel, hammer, and trigger have some darkening to their finish. This pistol is import marked on the right side of the slide. Comes with nice black plastic grips, and one magazine.
