8/7/24 – This a Steyr Hahn Model 1912 Rig that was originally issued to the Austria-Hungarian military. Austrian proof and 1930 date on the right side of the trigger guard. It was reworked and issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. The slide and frame are matching, but the barrel is mismatched. It has “Eagle N” and police “Eagle L” markings. The “08” on the slide indicates it was re-chambered for 9mm luger. It comes as a rig with a scarce period-correct leather holster and two stripper clips. The gun’s finish rates roughly 75% with obvious wear on the slide and grip straps. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is tiny pitting throughout.
