5/28/24 – This is an original WW1 era P1914 Swiss rifle bayonet. The bayonet is in great condition with a 11.75 inch blade that’s maker stamped at the base. The blade is shiny with light handling and age wear. This is mostly scabbard rub wear. Minimal discoloration and a clean, unsharpened edge. The hand guard is Swiss proof stamped and numbered, “343336”. Nice wood handles are in great condition with minimal surface wear and a few light bruises. Comes with an original scabbard that’s proof stamped on the toe/ball. Light surface patina, finish loss, and discoloration throughout but no rust or pitting. Fits the blade nicely and has an original leather tab hanger.
