Description
12/11/23 – This is a WW2 original Type 30 Arisaka rifle bayonet by Toyota Automatic Loom Works. The bayonet is cited in Labar’s book as LB-140 Variation A. Interestingly, the bright fullered blade shows evidence of being slightly shaved down / thinned throughout the sides – we’re not sure why. Maker stamped on the base of the blade, which is clean and excellent throughout. Features a hooked cross guard and bird’s head pommel with mild patina throughout. Contoured wood grips are excellent with screws and washers. Comes with a metal cone-tipped scabbard.
