8/2/23 – This is a terrific example of an original Colt 1911A1 that was issued to the U.S. military in 1942.Proper WB inspectors mark on frame, and right side is marked ‘UNITED STATES PROPERTY’.Slide is matching numbered to frame.Correct, scarce Colt barrel with large ‘G’ under lug, and it has a mint bore.Terrific grips with sharp checkering.Unmarked mag.
