10/15/21 – This is a beautiful Winchester M1 Garand that was made in 1942 and later went through the CMP.Excellent parkerized finish throughout, with virtually no wear to mention.It’s an early Winchester serial, made in February of 1942.Barrel was made by SA in December of 1954.Beautiful cherry-colored Department of Defense stock with square P on wrist, indicating repair or arsenal re-work.Faint DOD cartouche is still visible on the left side.Hardly any handling wear to the stock.Terrific bore, muzzle and throat are both less than 1.Comes with the CMP hard case, en bloc clip and manual.
