6/28/24 – This is an excellent example of a scarce, transitional Walther Model 2/5 from about 1915. It is in the correct serial range for this variation and is identified as having characteristics of both models, as the Model 2 transitioned to the Model 5. It has retained nearly all of its original bluing, but there are some slight dents on both sides of the slide around the muzzle – doesn’t affect functionality. Fitted with very nice period-correct grips and comes with one proper magazine. Excellent, shiny bore.
