8/5/25 – This is a mint, un-issued example of a Colt Model 1911A1 manufactured in 1944. It is all-correct, has the proper “United States Property” marking, and the proper US military cross-canon cartouche. This one, however, has British proofs throughout, indicating it was part of the WW2 British Lend-Lease Program. It has retained essentially all of its parkerized finish with just a few very light surface scuffs here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an “S” marked magazine. Mint bore.
