3/21/25 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1917 revolver issued to the US military during WW1. It is all matching, has the proper military acceptance proof on the left side of the frame, and is “United States Property” marking on the underside of the barrel. It’s original bluing rates about 93% with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and tiny scratches and marks throughout. The wood grips are un-numbered. Very nice bore with great rifling. It comes as a rig with a nice 1918-dated holster with its leather lanyard.
