2/18/25 – This is a good US M3 fighting knife, blade stamped variation, PAL fighting knife. The blade is maker stamped “PAL” along with “U.S. M3”. The markings are legible. The blade has some patina and wear from honest age and use. The blade appears to be sharpened. The leather handle has is tight and secure, although the metal cross guard is slightly loose. There’s a faint US flaming bomb ordnance stamp on the pommel. The leather scabbard is in good condition and is stamped with “U.S. M6” and “1943” as well as the logo for Barwood.The leather is very nice with no major issues, stitching and rivets are completely intact.
