12/15/23 – This is a great condition U.S.M4 bayonet. This example features a modified rubber grip on the bayonet that was put on sometime between the early 50s and 60s. Also featured with the bayonet is an original U.S.M8A1 Scabbard. The blade itself shows a minor amount of finish loss and light sharpening. Cross guard is marked U.S.M4 Case. The rubber grip has been relatively well preserved, showing no signs of hardening or cracking. Overall A few minor issues but certainly and interesting piece.
